2020 Ms. Minnesota Wrestling

April 6, 2020, Kya Rybachek of Hibbing High School has been awarded the Ms. Minnesota - Wrestling
Award as the top senior female high school wrestler in the state.
Rybachek finishes her high school career as a two time Minnesota Girls High School State Champion.

Having only competed in wrestling the past four years, Kya wasted no time getting to work as she
earned All-American honors at Fargo this past July as well as becoming a Folkstyle All-American in
Oklahoma City during the 2018 season.
Kya carries a 3.808 GPA along with already having several college course to her credit. She also boasts a
strong community service history on her resume. Kya’s plans are to continue to wrestle in college but
has yet to make an official announcement regarding her college commitment.

Recipients of the Ms. Minnesota – Wrestling Award receive a certificate to commemorate the
achievement along with a monetary gift.

Ms. Minnesota – Wrestling is an award created by MN Girls Wrestling with the sole purpose of promoting and recognizing
annually, the top senior female high school wrestler within the state of Minnesota.
