Minnesota USA Wrestling is currently seeking a Communications Coordinator to communicate information to the Minnesota Wrestling community.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Interested individuals should have past experience and proven results with growing organization membership through social media and other communication avenues. Knowledge and experience in graphic design, writing, photography, videography/editing, and social media and website management a plus.

Must have a USA Wrestling Leader Membership ( yearly ) or obtain within a month of employment.

Answerable to all Board members and reports to the Chair. Person will work from home, but will have commuting involved with the position as needed and required.

This is currently a part time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Plan, design, and implement social media content and visuals for all MN/USA Wrestling platforms.

2. Plan, design, and manage MN/USA Wrestling website.

3. Design graphics to promote all events.

4. Identify ways to enhance the athlete and fan experience at events.

5. Work with the Chair on all out-going emails to membership.

6. Identify community partners to advertise on the MN/USA Wrestling website and at MN/USA Wrestling events.

7. Highlight achievements of Minnesota individual wrestlers and teams at local, regional, and national events.

8. Meet consistently with the Board and State Director to determine content and outline communication plan.

9. Attend, promote, and develop same day content for all State tournaments.

10. Promote and develop same day content for USA Wrestling national and regional tournaments. Attendance at the USA Wrestling national tournament is expected.

11. Attend monthly Board meetings and report monthly activities.

12. Submit and manage the marketing annual budget.
