New Prague Trojans Dual Team: Battling for Greatness and looking to Strike at the MNUSA State Duals!

The New Prague Trojans wrestling team is amped up for an electrifying performance as they charge into the MNUSA Boys State Duals in Rochester on March 14th. With a blend of talent, determination, and experience, the Trojans are set to make their mark in Rochester.

Under the guidance of coaches Joe Connelly, Cory Czepa, and Scott Bauer, along with the support of dedicated volunteers like Dave Luchsinger and Jill Wenninger, the Trojans have been honing their skills and pushing their limits throughout the season. From competing in tournaments like the New Ulm Rolling Thunder dual to The Brawl and The Giant Showdown, the team has battle tested their competitive spirit and tenacity.

As they prepare for the state duals, the Trojans have set their sights high. Their goals extend beyond winning matches; they aim to compete at the highest level of their ability, stretch their comfort zones, and, most importantly, have fun. With a rich tradition of wrestling and a unified mission of challenging athletes to be better on the mat, in the classroom, and in life, the New Prague tradition stands as a force to be reckoned with.

The team is made up of several stand out wrestlers, including past state qualifiers, placers, and finalists, many of whom participate on the national level, constantly pushing themselves to excel. Many of the team members train not only with the New Prague program but also in clubs such as MNElite and Pinnacle. This approach expands their wrestlers abilities through a variety of coaching techniques & drilling partners.

What sets the Trojans apart is their commitment to teamwork and hard work. The camaraderie and encouragement displayed during duals create an unparalleled atmosphere of unity and support. Whether running through the Trojan tunnel before a match or pushing each other to be the best they can be, the team's traditions and rituals foster a sense of Trojan pride.
