May 4th State Greco, May 5th State Freestyle

Qualification: There is no qualification process for either the Greco or Freestyle State Tournaments.

Divisions:

• 6U (Pee-Wee): Birth Years 2018 & 2019
• 8U (Bantam): Birth Years 2016 & 2017
• 10U (Intermediate): Birth Years 2014 & 2015
• 12U (Novice): Birth Years 2012 & 2013
• 14U (Schoolboy/Schoolgirl): Birth Years 2010 & 2011
• 16U (Cadet): Birth Years 2008 & 2009
• Junior: Born 9/1/2004 & After, plus enrolled in grades 9-12

Weights Divisions: 10U and up boys have defined weight classes, not scratch weight.  

• 6U, 8U boys, and Girls will use Madison Weights.

• GIRLS Division: All 16U and Junior Girls will register separate, but these brackets will be COMBINED for Competition. 
• Must make actual weight, no tolerance will be allowed (10U 77lbs. must weigh 77.0 or less).  Must weigh in wearing competition singlet.

• Weigh in for Greco is good for Freestyle the following day!!

Uniform Rules: Competition red and blue singlets or red/blue reversible singlet with under briefs required. 

Cost: $45 per wrestler per style until 8pm on May 3rd, 2024.

• Late registration is $90 per wrestler per style closes at 10am on Saturday May 4th for Greco and 7am on Sunday, May 5th for Freestyle. 

Coaches Bands: In order to coach in the corner you must have the following: 2024 USA Wrestling Leadership card with Copper Certification or higher; AND evidence of completion of concussion training (*note this concussion training is not part of Copper or Bronze certification and requires a separate training. The Heads-Up Concussion Certification is incorporated into the USA Wrestling Membership system.

Any parent without a coach’s band will NOT be allowed to sit in the designated coaches chair and are NOT allowed to interact with the table or referees in any manner or request any challenges. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
