October 27, 2024, Otsego, MN – Minnesota/USA Wrestling held its annual membership meeting this past weekend in Otsego, Minnesota, with 26 board members and club representatives in attendance. As the organization reflects on the achievements of the past year, we are driven to continue growing the sport of wrestling across the state.

During the meeting, several executive committee positions for three-year terms were appointed. We are pleased to have continued leadership from:

• Vice President: Jeff Katherman
• Secretary: Kelly Refsnider
• Kids Director: Jon Mikolyzk
• Mat Officials Director: Tom Kuisle
• Membership Director: Amie Engels

In addition to these elected roles, we are excited to welcome Gary Auer as the newly appointed 16U Cadet Director. With his past experience and passion for youth wrestling, Gary will play a key role in furthering opportunities for Minnesota’s 16U athletes.

As we look ahead to the upcoming year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our board members, club representatives, mat officials, and every individual who plays a part in Minnesota’s wrestling success. We are eager to build on this momentum and deliver another year filled with memorable achievements and advancements for wrestling in Minnesota.
