Legal two piece uniforms, will be accepted as legal in ALL MNUSA Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco “Sanctioned tournaments” 

• Fight shorts must be without pockets, exposed tie strings, buttons, snaps, rivets or other abrasive surfaces. A suitable undergarment must be worn.  This undergarment can be a wrestling singlet or compression shorts.
• The shirt must be a tight fitting compression type shirt.
• If a singlet is worn as under the "Fight" shorts the straps must be up and in place and may be worn in place of the compression shirt and/or compression shorts.
• Tights or compression shorts that extend below the knees are illegal in all MNUSA Greco and Freestyle competitions.

USAW Regional National and National level competitions in Greco and Freestyle have yet to allow the two piece uniform and therefore illegal in competitions such as Northern Plains, and USAW National GR/FR Championships.  USAW has made the two piece uniform legal only in Folkstyle competitions.
