*Tournament info and changes for this year*

All State qualifier tournaments will be pre-registration only this year, same as we did last year. There are no Covid regulations in place for capacity limits, so tournaments do not have caps on how many can register.

Each tournament will open registrations about 2 weeks before the tournament date and be open until 2 days before the tournament date. NO ONSITE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE DONE. Tournaments will run in sessions same as we did last year, so be sure to check the tournament flyer for your age groups check-in and skin check times. You do not need to leave after your session like last year, so please stay and watch some wrestling and support the clubs. There are no weigh-ins and we will be doing on your honor weigh-ins with random weight audits. Which means when registering you will enter the weight your wrestler will be at time of competition. This process worked really well last year.

We believe that with the changes made last year, and will be using going forward, will make tournaments a more pleasurable experience for wrestlers, coaches, and spectators. For example, you will no longer come in at 7:30am for weigh-in, and then start wrestling around 10:00 or so. Please let MN/USA Wrestling know of your feedback about tournaments. All feedback is good feedback.

We recommend that everyone read the MN/USA Wrestling Guidebook. Lots of info on tournaments and qualifying procedures.

Hope to see you all on or by the mat soon!!! #MNStorm
